Military personnel, emergency responders, financial analysts and business intelligence professionals need to find, keep track and make sense of frequently changing information spread across disparate and often unconnected sources. Using its patented semantic network technology, Semandex has developed Netlink, a Real-Time Knowledge Network that offers users a fast, cost-effective solution to make sense of the vast amount of data that is of interest to them. Real-Time Information is “pushed” to those that need it as soon as it is published: Knowledge --> A “common language” (ontology) enables diverse information users and producers to communicate with one another; Network --> A distributed, scalable architecture enables the reliable, targeted, and filtered delivery of information. Netlink users receive only the information they need, in a way that makes it easy to connect the dots across disconnected pieces of information. With a few simple steps users can rapidly connect to any RSS feed or news sources. Publishers can efficiently share their information by building semantic adaptors to connect their data (in any format) to the network. Netlink systems are operational in the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, and are under evaluation in other areas, including emergency response, telecommunications and financial services.
