Level: Business/Technical Introductory

A lot of companies are doing work in the SOA space and Intel is one of them. As we become more and more matured in our approach to SOA, we see the need to move towards a Semantic SOA wherein the services are based on Ontologies with runtime invocation and inference playing a key role. The adoption of Semantic SOA requires a lot more foundational work such as defining Enterprise level canonical models, adoption of semantic standards such as OWL and WSDL-S for defining service contracts and so on. In this session, we would like to discuss the implications of Semantic SOA and Intel’s roadmap in moving from SOA to Semantic SOA.
